The written examination is scheduled for 12 July 2026 (Sunday) from 03:00 PM to 05:00 PM, and it will be conducted across test centers located specifically in the Lucknow district.
No, the city slip is strictly an advance information document and is not a valid hall ticket. You must present a valid, official e-Admit Card on exam day, which will be released separately by the commission.
Out of the initial pool of registered candidates, a unique count of 1,596 candidates (meeting the 15 times category-wise merit criteria based on PET-2025 scores) were successfully shortlisted for the mains round.
Candidates in the Braille writing test must convert a Hindi text of 150–200 words into Braille script with a minimum of 60 words written accurately within 10 minutes. For the reading test, you must accurately read and translate at least 40 words into Devanagari Hindi within 10 minutes.
The evaluation contains two parts: Text to Sign Language conversion (minimum 10 functional words accurately signed within 8 minutes) and Sign Language to Text conversion from an English video clip (minimum 10 functional words accurately transcribed within 8 minutes).
