Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Male candidates must complete a 1.6 km race within 6 minutes and 30 seconds. Female candidates must complete an 800-meter race within 4 minutes. Ex-Servicemen are completely exempted from PET stages.
Candidates must achieve a minimum speed of 35 words per minute in English typing OR 30 words per minute in Hindi typing on a computer. This corresponds to 10500 KDPH in English or 9000 KDPH in Hindi.
Based on performance in the written test, a category-wise merit list will be prepared to call candidates up to 15 times the total number of vacancies for the typing test.
Ties are resolved first by age criteria, ranking older candidates higher. If a tie persists, priority is determined alphabetically (dictionary pattern A to Z) based on the candidate's first name.
