Application Fees

SC/ ST/ Ex-Servicemen/ PwBD/ Women Rs 250/-

The fee of Rs. 250/- for concessional categories and Rs. 400/- (out of Rs. 500/-) for others will be refunded after deducting bank charges upon successfully appearing in the 1st Stage Computer Based Test (CBT). Applications without the prescribed fee will be summarily rejected.

The lower and upper age limits will be calculated as of 01 January 2026. Category-based relaxations in the upper age limit apply, such as 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC-NCL candidates.

This initiative aims to fill vacancies for multiple Isolated Categories, including Chief Law Assistant, Public Prosecutor, Junior Translator (Hindi), Senior Publicity Inspector, Staff and Welfare Inspector, Scientific Assistant (Training), Lab Assistant Gr. III (Chemist & Metallurgist), and Scientific Supervisor/Ergonomics and Training.

Mode of Selection / Exam Stages

  • Single Stage Computer Based Test (CBT)Multiple-choice objective evaluation featuring 100 questions covering Professional Ability, General Awareness, General Intelligence and Reasoning, Mathematics, and General Science.
  • Translation Test (TT)A qualifying test mandatory only for the post of Junior Translator (Hindi), requiring a minimum pass mark of 60%.
  • Document Verification (DV)Review of original certificates and verification of parameters against details submitted in the online application.
  • Medical ExaminationComprehensive physical and visual acuity fitness test administered by Railway Medical Authorities.

Eligible candidates can check their exam date schedule, city allotment, and download their official admit cards online by logging into the centralized application portal.
  • Navigate to the official website of your respective Railway Recruitment Board (RRB).
  • Click on the login link and submit your registered user credentials (Registration Number / Application Number and Password/Date of Birth).
  • Click on the designated tab labeled "Exam City and Date Intimation" on your dashboard to see your exam date, timing, and center location.
  • If your scheduled exam date is exactly 4 days away or closer, click the "E-Call Letter" download button that appears.
