ISRO’s U R Rao Satellite Centre (URSC) is inviting online applications from Indian nationals for temporary Junior Research Fellow (JRF) positions in Bengaluru. Selected fellows will engage in cutting-edge spacecraft technology projects, covering spacecraft design, fabrication, microelectronics, power electronics, and mission analysis packages.

Vacancy Details
- Post Name: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
- Total Vacancies: 15 posts (spread across position codes JRF-E1 to JRF-E13 and JRF-M1 to JRF-M3)
- Stipend: ₹37,000 per month as JRF, with the possibility of being upgraded to ₹42,000 per month as a Senior Research Fellow (SRF). Applicable House Rent Allowance (HRA) will be paid if hostel accommodation is not provided.
Educational Qualification
- For Engineering Posts (JRF-E1 to E12 & JRF-M1 to M3): First Class M.E. / M.Tech / M.Sc (Engg.) or equivalent postgraduate degree with at least 60% aggregate marks (or a 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale).
- For Mathematics/Physics Post (JRF-E13): First Class M.Sc. in Mathematics or Physics with at least 65% aggregate marks (or a 6.84 CGPA on a 10-point scale) OR First Class M.Tech or equivalent postgraduate degree in Aerospace.
- Mandatory Examination: Candidates must be qualified through National Eligibility Tests like CSIR-UGC-NET (including Lectureship), GATE, or other equivalent national-level examinations conducted by central government departments/agencies (such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, etc.).
