Recruitment Overview
ISRO's ISTRAC is hiring Graduate, Diploma, and Trade (ITI) Apprentices for a mandatory one-year training stint across multiple technical fields. Open to fresh pass-outs from recent years, this program builds technical expertise in satellite telemetry and space communication infrastructure.
The ISRO Telemetry Tracking & Command Network (ISTRAC), a crucial wing of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) under the Department of Space, has announced its apprentice engagement for the year 2026–2027. Applications are invited from eligible Indian candidates holding engineering degrees, diplomas, or ITI certifications for a one-year training program under the Apprentices Act.
Vacancy Details & Monthly Stipend
A total of 85 positions are open across three categories and three operational locations:

Educational Qualification & Passing Year
- Graduate Apprentices: B.E./B.Tech in respective fields (Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, Electrical & Electronics, Mechanical, Civil) or B.Sc in CS/IT or MLISc in Library Science.
- Diploma Apprentices: Diploma in Engineering (respective fields) or Diploma in Commercial Practice awarded by a recognized State Board.
- Trade ITI Apprentices: ITI certification in respective disciplines (Electronics Mechanic, Machinist, Electrical, IT-TSM, Fitter).
- Crucial Condition: Only regular candidates who have passed out during the years 2024, 2025, and 2026 are eligible. Candidates must join within 3 years of acquiring their degree/diploma.
