Qualification Level & Academic Benchmarks

The academic eligibility profile for the Agniveer Apprentice entry mandates a technical background combining standard secondary education and a formal engineering diploma:

1. Mandatory Matriculation Standard

  • Candidates must have successfully cleared their Matriculation (Class 10th) board examination with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized board of education.

2. Mandatory Technical Diploma

  • Candidates must hold a completed 3-Year Engineering Diploma from an AICTE-recognized Polytechnic Institute with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
  • Eligible Engineering Streams: Mechanical, Production, Automobile, Marine, Electrical, Electronics & Communication, Mechatronics, Metallurgy, Instrumentation, Power Plant Engineering, or Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.
