Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Only candidates who have already cleared the Common Eligibility Test (CET) Phase-I under Advertisement No. 01/2025 for Group-C with the required qualifying cutoff are eligible to log in and apply.
The examination consists of 100 multiple-choice questions carrying a total of 100 marks, with a duration of 1 hour and 45 minutes. There is no negative marking for choosing an incorrect option, but leaving a question completely blank without filling the fifth bubble will result in a deduction of 1 mark.
Supporting certificates for BC-A, BC-B, and EWS categories must be issued on or after April 1, 2026, and on or before the application closing date. For DSC/OSC candidates, the certificate must have been issued after November 13, 2024.
For Group-C posts covered under this phase, the maximum number of candidates eligible to appear for the skill and/or written examination will be up to 10 times the total number of advertised vacancies per category/post block.
In case of equal aggregate marks, the candidate who is older in age will receive higher merit precedence. If both the score and date of birth match perfectly, the marks obtained in the CET Phase-I exam will determine final placement.
