Educational Qualification

How To Access & Take Central Bank of India Apprentice Remote Online Exam 2026

Eligible applicants will receive their individual exam access and login credentials remotely via email to take the test on their own smart devices.
  • Monitor your registered email inbox (including Spam/Junk folders) for messages sent from [email protected].
  • Click on the practice link received via email prior to midnight on 04 July 2026 to check your device's web camera compatibility and get accustomed to the environment.
  • Locate the separate email containing your Actual Examination Link along with your unique login credentials, sent one day before the exam date.
  • Sit in a quiet, private, well-lit room and log into the portal at least 30 minutes prior to the 11:00 AM start time on 05 July 2026.
  • Hold your original physical Government Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Driving License, Voter ID, or Passport) up to the front camera for identity verification.

Candidates must hold a Graduate Degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Crucially, candidates must have completed their graduation on or after January 1, 2022. Anyone who graduated before this date or already has more than a year of professional work/training experience is ineligible.
Candidates must be between 20 and 28 years old as of the cut-off date (May 31, 2026). Unreserved candidates must be born between May 31, 1998, and May 31, 2006 (both days inclusive). Standard upper age relaxations apply: 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates.
The online examination consists of 100 objective-type questions carrying a total of 100 marks with a duration of 60 minutes. There is no negative marking. The test covers five sections (20 questions each): General/Financial Awareness, Quantitative & Reasoning Aptitude, Computer Knowledge, General English, and Central Bank Products & Services.
No, this is strictly a temporary apprenticeship engagement for a period of 12 months. The apprentices will have no legal claim whatsoever for regular or permanent employment in the Central Bank of India after the training period concludes.
The selection process is strictly merit-based and broken into four distinct stages: an Online Objective Examination, a Local Language Proficiency Test (candidates who studied the local language in 10th/12th standard are typically exempt), physical Document Verification, and a Medical Fitness Assessment.
