Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: You must possess a Master’s Degree (Post-Graduation) in any of the 35 specified test subjects from a recognized university.
- Minimum Marks: At least 55% marks for General, Unreserved, and EWS candidates. A relaxed bracket of 50% marks is applied for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), SC, ST, PwBD, and Third Gender candidates.
- Appearing Candidates: Final-year Post-Graduate students or those awaiting results are fully eligible to apply provisionally. They must pass their Master’s within 2 years of the SET results.
- Age Limit: There is no upper age limit enforced to sit for the Rajasthan SET exam.
Exam Pattern
The offline, OMR-based evaluation is completed in a single 3-hour session:
- Structure: Comprises two papers consisting entirely of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
- Paper I: 50 Questions (100 Marks) focused on General Teaching & Research Aptitude.
- Paper II: 100 Questions (200 Marks) focused entirely on your chosen specialized PG subject.

How To Apply for Rajasthan SET Online Form 2026
- Access the Portal: Head to the official Rajasthan Single Sign-On page at sso.rajasthan.gov.in.
- Registration / Login: Log in with your existing account, or choose "Register" as a citizen using your Aadhaar or Google account to generate a new SSO ID.
- Complete OTR: Once logged in, select the Recruitment Portal icon and click to perform your One-Time Registration (OTR) using Aadhaar validation to auto-fill primary data. Pay the standard one-time fee if you haven't previously completed it.
- Find the SET Form: Go to the "Ongoing Recruitments" tab on your dashboard and select State Eligibility Test (SET) — 2026.
- Form Filling & Uploads: Select your specific PG subject. Enter your remaining qualification metrics and upload clean scans of your live photograph, signatures (Hindi & English), and thumb impressions as requested.
- Final Submission: Preview all entered parameters carefully. Submit the application, complete the specified category fee online, and download your permanent confirmation printout.
