Recruitment Overview
The University of Allahabad has officially declared the PGAT 2026 results for postgraduate courses including LLB, LLM, MCom, MEd, BEd, and MBA. Candidates who appeared for the entrance exams can download their scorecard online using their application ID and password.
Mode of Selection / Exam Stages
- Entrance Examination (PGAT) — Candidates must appear for the written Post Graduate Admission Test (PGAT I & II). The exam consists of 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) totaling 300 marks with no negative marking. For MBA programs, candidates also undergo a Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI).
- Result Declaration & Merit List — The university publishes official scorecards online at aupravesh2026.cbtexam.in. Category-wise merit lists and cutoff ranks are subsequently released by individual departments based on these test scores (minus any gap-year deductions if applicable).
- Counseling and Final Admission — Shortlisted candidates who clear the cutoffs register on the counseling portal. Following online document verification and payment of the course admission fee, seats are officially frozen across the main campus and its constituent colleges.
