BSEH Haryana TET Examination 2026: Eligibility Criteria

The fundamental educational benchmarks are divided across three independent exam tiers:

Level I: Primary Teacher (PRT, Classes 1 to 5)

  • Academic Base: Senior Secondary (Class 12) with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
  • Professional Qualification: Completed or pursuing the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed / JBT / B.El.Ed).
  • Core Prerequisite: Matric (Class 10) or Higher Education must include Hindi or Sanskrit as a mandatory subject.

Level II: Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT, Classes 6 to 8)

  • Academic Base: Bachelor’s Degree (B.A. / B.Sc. / B.Com) in the relevant subject specialization with at least 50% marks.
  • Professional Qualification: A recognized teaching degree, such as a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed).

Level III: Post Graduate Teacher (PGT, Classes 9 to 12)

  • Academic Base: Post Graduate (Master’s) Degree in the concerned subject specialization with at least 50% aggregate marks from a recognized university.
  • Professional Qualification: Mandatory Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree.

No, the exam city allocated by BSEH is final and cannot be altered under any circumstances.
General and unreserved category candidates must secure at least 60% (90 out of 150 marks). SC and differently-abled candidates holding a Haryana domicile require a minimum of 55% (82 out of 150 marks).
Admit cards are issued exclusively in digital format. Candidates must download and print their hall tickets via the official portal; no hard copies will be sent by post.
