Jai Prakash University, Chhapra offers 4-Year Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) Undergraduate Degree courses (B.A., B.Sc., B.Com Honours/Research) matching the guidelines of the National Education Policy (NEP).

  • Subject Restrictions:
    • To choose Mathematics or Physics as a Major, the candidate must have studied Mathematics in 12th standard.
    • To choose Botany or Zoology as a Major, the candidate must have studied Biology in 12th standard.
    • Note: Arts and Commerce students are not eligible to apply for B.Sc. programs.

3. Faculty of Commerce (Bachelor of Commerce – B.Com)

  • Basic Qualification: Candidates must have passed the Intermediate in Commerce (I.Com) or Intermediate in Science (I.Sc.).
  • Minimum Marks: A minimum of 45% aggregate marks in the Intermediate exam is mandatory.
  • Note: Students who passed 12th standard with an Arts background are generally not permitted to choose Commerce programs.

  • Click on "Download Allotment Letter" and save the PDF file. You must print this out as it is required at the time of college verification.
